We should look for 3C when choosing a Interlocking Baby Floor Mat

When the baby reaches the stage of crawling, parents usually choose the floor mat for the baby, commonly known as "crawling mat". The State Accreditation Regulatory Commission recently announced that "climbing pad" products are officially included in the scope of compulsory product certification. Because the crawler pads on the market before, especially the interlocking baby floor mats, were found to be poisonous, such news has caused public concern. Since December 1, 2018, those who have not been certified by CCC shall not leave the factory, sell, import, or use them in other business activities. Yesterday, the reporter visited the city's internal market to explore what hidden security risks are behind the "climbing mat". The result of the visit tells us that 3C should be recognized when choosing interlocking baby floor mat.

In order to ensure the quality and safety of children's products, the State Accreditation and Supervision Commission recently issued a bulletin that "climbing pad" products should be mandatory "3C" certification. According to the requirements, all mattress products which are clearly labeled as "crawling mattress" products in product packaging and product specifications, or not clearly labeled as "crawling mattress" products, but which explicitly implement the relevant standards of GB6675 and are suitable for infants' crawling and playing, should meet the requirements of the relevant toy products "3C" Certification implementation rules.

From the date of the announcement, relevant manufacturers should implement certification according to the "3C" certification of toy products, and complete the certification by November 30, 2018. Since December 1, 2018, if the above products have not been certified by CCC, they shall not be discharged, sold, imported or used in other business activities. That is to say, in the future, consumers should check whether there is a "3C" certification mark on the packaging when purchasing "climbing pad" products.
